Charlie offers bespoke solutions for projects of all shapes and sizes.
Each project starts with a discovery call to discuss your needs, explore how Charlie can help, and the level of service your project may require. These calls are free of charge and there’s no obligation to proceed beyond this.
Charlie’s consultation service offers the flexibility of expert in-person* advice when you need it – whether you're just starting your project or tackling specific challenges as you progress.
Typical consultation themes include:
- Optimising your space and room layout
- Choosing colour schemes, paint colours, and material finishes
- Selecting the right furniture and storage solutions
- Window treatments, flooring and lighting
- Styling and finishing touches
Prior to your consultation you’ll be asked to complete a questionnaire. Based on this Charlie will research and prepare for your meeting, ensuring you get the most from your time together.
*Consultations are available in-person or via video call, depending on location. Travel costs are charged for in-person meetings beyond Brighton & Hove.
The Room Re-design package offers you a comprehensive design plan comprising a 90 minute consultation followed up with detailed design documentation, including:
- Colour schemes (with specific paint options)
- Design finishes (key materials and where to use them)
- Layout options (x3)
- Furniture ideas (styles, brands, sizing)
- Tips and tricks (expert hacks to finesse the space)
Designed for those who don’t require Full-Service Design — whether due to budget constraints or a desire for less intensive support — this package provides cost effective professional guidance that you can implement yourself.
Charlie can assist with a single room or a collection of rooms. It is also possible to add on additional services should you need them along the way. For example furniture sourcing, bespoke cabinetry design, lighting plans, site visits and so on.
For clients that want a seamless transformation of their home or commercial space. This is a turnkey design service that covers every aspect of a project, from concepts to design details, through to project coordination and styling.
To make things as simple as possible, the design process is broken down into three stages:
- Stage 1: Direction. After an in-depth consultation to understand the scope, Charlie will put together a mood board with colours, textures, and inspirational images. This forms the overall design direction and helps you to picture how the project will develop.
- Stage 2: Detail. At this stage, the concept is developed in more detail. Charlie will create floor plans, lighting layouts, and 3D visuals to give you a clear sense of how everything will come together. This also helps guide makers and tradespeople to bring the design to life. Charlie will source everything required and provide a clear Furniture, Fittings & Equipment schedule.
- Stage 3: Delivery. Here the stress is taken off your hands. Charlie will manage site visits, oversee construction and the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment. And at the end, she’ll style and dress your space so it’s ready for you to enjoy.
